Want Extra Comfort? 11 Great Hotels in Rome with King Beds

At first, I thought it was an odd question, but then it kept coming.

Angela, are there hotels in Rome with king beds?

In hotels in Italy, I have mostly found regular double beds so this question never really crossed my mind. But apparently, it’s gaining traction because I have encountered several travelers who have been looking for king-sized beds in Rome unsuccessfully.

So I have done the full research for you.

I must say, it hasn’t been as easy and straightforward as I thought.

In my quest, in fact, I have found that not many hotel rooms in Rome feature regular double beds. Even accommodations that are well-known to be good hotels often list “large” or “comfortable” beds among their amenities but not many with actual king beds.

However, I researched a bit deeper and found a few that do offer king or sometimes queen-sized beds to their guests. These are usually good hotels on the high-end side rather than B&Bs or private apartments, but the choice is quite diverse.
